Sandvik is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Technical Engineer to support growth of direct and indirect sales for Cimatron CAD and Mold products. You will provide high-quality pre-sales technical support, training, and successful implementations, collaborating with sales and product teams to drive customer satisfaction and product adoption.

The role requires 10+ years in CAD/CAM with mold design, hands-on Cimatron experience, and the ability to mentor reseller engineers.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years in the CAD/CAM industry with a strong focus on mold design and manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with Cimatron (preferred) or other CAD/CAM systems.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding flow simulation software (e.g., Inspire Mold) is preferred.
• Overall knowledge of CAM programming is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-Sales: deliver product demonstrations, POCs, and technical inputs to proposals.
• Training and post-sales: conduct customer and reseller training sessions and manage complex support cases.
• Ensure timely SLAs, successful deployments, and high customer satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor reseller application engineers with up-to-date product knowledge.
• Drive technical excellence and gather customer feedback for product improvements.
• Create documentation for software configurations and best practices.
• Stay updated on CAD/CAM/CAE trends and competitive technologies.
• Travel 40-50% for prospect visits, demos, and training sessions.
