Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Educational background in healthcare or previous healthcare work experience is required.
• Experience as a Scheduler, Medical Scheduler, Patient Coordinator, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare offices or specialty clinics is desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling workflows.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Coordinate patient care and maintain provider schedules.
• Conduct patient intake and collect required documentation.
• Assist patients with appointment-related questions and follow-ups.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and prescription requests as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinic staff.
• Support case management and healthcare administrative processes.
• Ensure a positive patient experience with professional communication.
• Handle sensitive patient information per privacy requirements.
