Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Educational background in medical/healthcare field OR previous healthcare industry experience (required).
• Experience as Scheduler/Medical Scheduler/Patient Coordinator/Case Manager/Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Experience in healthcare settings, medical offices or specialty clinics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Coordinate patient care and maintain provider schedules.
• Conduct patient intake and collect required documentation.
• Assist patients with appointment-related questions and follow-ups.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and prescription requests as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinic staff.
• Support case management and healthcare administrative processes.
• Ensure a positive patient experience through professional communication.
• Handle sensitive patient information in accordance with privacy requirements.
