Aon in Mexico City is seeking a meticulous Benefits Processor for a hybrid role, combining virtual work with our Torre Diana office. You will administer client benefit programs, ensure accuracy, and deliver high-quality service across multiple client portfolios.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, generating reports, managing queues, and coordinating with insurers, while maintaining thorough records and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar roles.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in employee benefits.
  • Solid process management mindset and SLA awareness.
  • Service-oriented attitude and ownership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office tools.
  • English at high level; Portuguese at high level preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Administer employee benefit programs for clients and ensure accurate processing and high-quality service.
  • Process benefit transactions and respond to benefit-related inquiries following procedures and timelines.
  • Review and analyze documentation needed to process benefits (plan rules, process docs, communications).
  • Generate and deliver reports on insured employees and benefit activity.
  • Manage daily work queues and emails to meet SLAs.
  • Coordinate with insurers for enrollments, terminations, and changes; clarify benefit questions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for processed transactions and requests.
  • Support additional tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.

How The Day Will Look Like

In this role, you will administer employee benefit programs for our clients, ensuring accurate processing and high‑quality service delivery. You will:

  • Learn about our clients, systems and tools, and develop proficiency in processing and reviewing benefits work.
  • Accurately process benefit transactions and respond to benefit‑related inquiries, following established procedures and meeting agreed timelines and service levels.
  • Review, update and analyze documentation needed to process benefits (e.g., plan rules, process documentation, internal specifications, communications).
  • Generate and deliver regular and ad‑hoc reports on insured employees and benefit activity.
  • Manage daily work queues and email inboxes, prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet contractual SLAs.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to clarify processes, coordinate new requirements and support implementations, renewals, and changes in existing clients.
  • Coordinate with insurers as needed to process enrollments, terminations and changes, and to clarify benefit‑related questions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all processed transactions and client requests.
  • Perform additional tasks and support activities requested by your manager to ensure smooth and consistent service delivery.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or similar).
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar roles and/or service‑oriented positions (benefits, insurance, shared services, BPO, customer service, or operations).
  • Knowledge or strong interest in employee benefits and benefits administration.
  • Solid process management mindset and comfort working with procedures, documentation, and SLAs.
  • Service‑oriented attitude and strong sense of ownership and follow‑through.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze information and propose solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE, IF, basic lookups) and good command of Microsoft Office tools.
  • English at high level (spoken, read and written) is preferred.
  • Portuguese at high level.
