Aon in Mexico City is seeking a Regional Compensation Specialist to support compensation initiatives across multiple countries. The role blends data-driven analysis with governance, working closely with HR, Finance and leadership to ensure market-aligned pay decisions.

You will influence salary ranges, promotions and incentives while maintaining internal equity and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work setup.

Formación

• Experience in compensation, rewards, HR operations or data-focused HR environments, ideally with regional exposure.
• Knowledge of salary structures, market data, job evaluation, incentives and pay equity considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to confidential data.
• Proven ability to manage multiple recurring activities and deadlines with stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort with HR systems and reports.

• Analyze compensation and market data to recommend salary ranges and pay decisions.

• Respond to inquiries from HR and business stakeholders, guiding and escalating when needed.
• Collaborate with HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition and Legal to implement compensation changes.

Regional Compensation Specialist

How the day will look like

As a Regional Compensation Specialist, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and supporting compensation and benefits initiatives across multiple countries in the region. You will partner closely with HR, Finance and business leaders to ensure compensation decisions are accurate, consistent, and aligned with policy, market practices, and regulatory requirements.

You Will

• Support the planning and execution of annual and cyclical compensation processes (e.g., merit reviews, promotions, incentive payouts) through data preparation, validation, tracking, reporting and issue resolution.
• Analyze and interpret compensation and market data to provide recommendations on salary ranges, pay positioning, promotions, adjustments and job offers.
• Coordinate and administer regional compensation and benefits programs, maintaining accurate records, templates, trackers, and documentation for audit and governance purposes.
• Respond to compensation-related inquiries from HR and business stakeholders, using sound judgment to provide practical guidance and escalating complex or sensitive cases when appropriate.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Legal) to ensure timely and accurate implementation of compensation decisions and program changes.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Experience in compensation, rewards, HR operations, people analytics or a similarly data-focused HR environment, ideally with regional exposure.
• Working knowledge of core compensation concepts and processes (e.g., salary structures, market data, job evaluation, incentives, pay equity, regulatory/compliance considerations).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy when handling confidential colleague and compensation data.
• Proven ability to manage multiple recurring activities, deadlines, and stakeholder follow‑ups, communicating clearly and collaborating effectively with HR and business partners.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong comfort with HR systems, reports, trackers and shared collaboration tools; solid English skills to operate in a regional, multicultural environment.
• Bachelor´s Degree in similar field
• At least 3 years of experience in related positions
• Fluent in English (no exceptions)
