Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Growth & Emerging Markets, the Managing Director for Italy will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Italian business. This role involves defining the strategic vision to develop the enterprise market, establishing a robust network of decision-makers among prospects, customers, and channel partners, and providing thought leadership to drive new business and growth while safeguarding strategic accounts in key markets.
The Managing Director will cultivate strong relationships with government and regulatory bodies, as well as industry stakeholders, to uphold Equinix's reputation and influence relevant policy areas. Additionally, this role will implement power and energy strategies, leveraging market insights, and serve as an executive sponsor for key customers. The Managing Director will promote a culture of inclusion and innovation, manage crisis situations, and advocate for the localised enablement of Equinix's operating system.
The ideal candidate will embody the Magic of Equinix, upholding cultural values for employees, attracting top talent, and effectively managing the current business in Italy while overseeing expansions, including x-Scale initiatives. This position will be based in Milan.
