In this role, you will act as a key technical partner supporting complex local payroll implementations within a global, remote-first environment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to design, configure, and optimize payroll solutions that align with diverse business needs. The position combines hands‑on system configuration, solution design, and technical consulting with a strong focus on service quality and operational excellence. You will contribute directly to improving payroll performance, security, and scalability while supporting continuous product and process improvement. This role offers exposure to sophisticated SaaS payroll systems, third‑party integrations, and enterprise‑level configurations. It is well suited for a technically curious consultant who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating across functions. Your work will have a tangible impact on how global payroll operations run smoothly and compliantly.

Accountabilities
  • Design, propose, and deliver technical payroll solutions that address customer operational requirements and system challenges
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to integrate local payroll systems seamlessly into business operations
  • Apply architectural best practices to identify optimal configurations and long‑term solutions
  • Draft and communicate functional and system integration specifications following in‑depth customer consultations
  • Conduct solution demonstrations, testing, and validation to showcase real‑world functionality
  • Improve system efficiency and security through performance metrics, encryption, and best‑practice standards
  • Resolve complex system issues, provide coaching to internal teams, and support continuous technical upskilling
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business consulting, system implementation, or technical support roles
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with local payroll systems in a SaaS environment
  • Solid understanding of system configuration, component setups, and calculation logic
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, data mapping, GL integrations, and custom bank file configuration
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
