Job summary

ABB Motion Services in Italy seeks a Service Sales Manager to drive service sales, promote the full Drives portfolio, and strengthen relationships with End User customers across Central and Southern Italy. You will manage opportunities, coordinate with marketing, and ensure profitable growth within the Installed Base.

The role requires a technical background, 5+ years in sales, strong English and Italian, and willingness to travel domestically. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial environments or automation.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Central and Southern Italy.
• Proven ability to build long-term customer partnerships.
• Structured sales approach with pipeline, forecasts, and targets.

Responsibilities

• Penetrating the Installed Base by promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with End User customers.
• Preparing, reviewing, and executing sales plans, including proposing recovery actions when needed.
• Applying channel strategies and supporting pricing definition.
• Acting as a promoter of ABB’s Service portfolio during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, customer meetings, conferences).
• Ensuring a prompt and effective response to customer needs and issues.
