Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our hybrid Italy-based team in Rome or Milan. You will present cloud security capabilities, translate customer goals into actionable recommendations, and act as a trusted advisor through transformational engagements.

You will guide customers from identifying use cases to delivering successful projects, gathering technical requirements and promoting value in demos and POVs.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI‑driven solutions to optimize outcomes.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies.
• Proven experience with Value Selling Methodologies and Salesforce documentation.
• Demonstrated proficiency producing technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Strong collaboration with sales to qualify opportunities and deliver proof of concept engagements.

Responsibilities

• Present the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers.
• Set the vision and translate goals into enticing, context-specific recommendations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients during their transformational journey.
• Guide customers from identifying use cases to defining and delivering successful projects.
• Gather customer requirements and promote the value proposition in POVs, presentations, and demos.
