Job summary

Ignition Italia Srl, an Exclusive Networks Company, is seeking a versatile Pre-Sales Engineer to join the technical team and act as a trusted advisor across our cybersecurity portfolio in Italy. You will support partners and customers in identifying and validating optimal solutions, combining technical excellence with business understanding and strong communication.

This role involves designing, presenting, and validating cybersecurity solutions, plus PoC management and early deployment support,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT, preferably in pre-sales, technical consulting, cybersecurity, or engineering roles.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders: sales teams, vendors, partners, and customers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good command of English (B1–B2 level), for interaction with vendors and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel within Italy as required.

Responsibilities

• Support all pre-sales activities with the sales team, including customer meetings, solution presentations, and technical workshops.
• Translate customer and partner requirements into effective cybersecurity architectures.
• Act as a technical reference for partners and end customers through the pre-sales cycle.
• Design and deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution proposals.
• Manage PoC activities with resellers and end customers; plan and validate them.
