Job Description

R-034687 Senior Manager Strategic Pricing, Orthopedics, EMEA. The Senior Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving execution of sustainable pricing and commercial strategies focused on profitable growth to meet financial commitments for the Orthopedics business units in EMEA. The incumbent will liaise with key cross-functional partners on a global, regional, and local level to ensure alignment on business planning, commercial readiness, tactical execution and will oversee critical strategic projects that fuel profitable growth.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Facilitate strategy sessions to analyze market trends and patient needs, drive departmental pricing initiatives and generate product proposals.
  • Collaborate with EMEA Business Leaders to develop pricing and commercial strategies for new and existing products.
  • Work with regional and local pricing partners to implement price optimization programs that ensure consistency across markets. Support the development and execution of digital pricing tools.
  • Oversee system gross profit initiatives, including price, portfolio mix, and revenue leakage. Monitor adherence to pricing strategies and provide structured analyses and recommendations as needed.
  • Collect and analyze customer insights to maintain an up-to-date understanding of the perceived value of technologies. Develop strategies to address market gaps and enhance competitiveness.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to build a pricing community focused on skill enhancement through training and sharing best practices.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data science or related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Solid experience in pricing (8+ years) ideally in Medical Devices, with proven track record in change management. Experience in sales, marketing, business development (2+ years) is highly recommended.
  • Strong analytical and financial, pricing & gross profit modeling skills (5+ years) with proficiency in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong experience and understanding of the European healthcare systems.
  • Experience in driving profit initiatives such as pricing optimization, customer segmentation, portfolio & customer mix and revenue assurance.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into operational activities and drive execution.
  • Ability to work with complex data models, strong Excel skills; Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel locally and globally as required (approximately 30%).
  • Knowledge and understanding of Legal and Health Care Compliance policies.
