e-Motion is a company specialized in marine hybrid propulsion. e-Motion is the only supplier of standardized hybrid propulsion systems that fit into the existing engine room of all serial production yachts from 40‑250 feet. For over 10 years, we have operated with passion and innovation, delivering marine hybrid systems worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer & Project Manager with a strong background in the yachting industry.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with project management skills to oversee hybrid electrical systems and coordinate project execution from the design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of electrical systems (low voltage, high voltage, automation, CAN and ethernet network)
• Drafting of electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
• Technical management of projects: planning, progress monitoring, cost control
• Coordination with technical office, production team, suppliers and clients
• Liaison with certification bodies (e.g., RINA, Lloyd’s Register)

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within the marine or related industries
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, SPAC, AutoCAD Electrical)
• Ability to interpret technical standards and industry regulations
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with yachts over 24 meters
• Knowledge of hybrid/electric propulsion systems
• Willingness to travel to shipyards and suppliers
