Proofpoint is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Milan team. You will be a trusted technical advisor to Account Managers, delivering compelling product demonstrations and shaping customer decisions with Proofpoint's People-Centric security solutions.

Work with the sales and channel teams, present at industry events, and travel as needed to regional customers. Fluency in Italian and business English are required, with a passion for cybersecurity and customer success.

Competenze

Hands-on experience in Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior product support
Experience in secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP cybersecurity
Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
Fluent Italian and business English required

Mansioni

Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies
Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions spanning the Proofpoint portfolio
Assist in professional services deployments and technical training; present at industry events or trade shows
Provide customer insights to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
Work with Channel team to support Distributors and Resellers
Become an expert in Email Security, APTs, Attack Protection, Threat Response, DLP, and threat landscape
Occasional travel required
