Now Hiring: STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (Design & Site Experience)

Location: Italy | Projects in Italy & Internationally

Our client — a well-established company operating within a network of firms specializing in construction, carpentry, mechanical, and building services — is looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join their team.

This role combines structural design expertise with hands-on site experience, contributing to the successful delivery of both civil and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Design precast (with prestressed reinforcement) and traditional civil/industrial structures in compliance with current regulations.
• Conduct structural analysis using specialized software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on integrated design solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Supervise construction sites to ensure project compliance.
• Carry out structural assessments of existing buildings.
• Manage project timelines and costs.
• Attend technical meetings with clients and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Suggest innovative solutions to optimize structural design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed to practice (State Exam passed).
• At least 3 years of experience in structural design.
• Strong knowledge of Italian and European technical standards.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, ALLPLAN, Revit.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Good command of technical English.
