A leading international industrial group is seeking a Sales Manager to develop the Italian market and manage key accounts. This role involves full commercial responsibility, cooperating closely with top management to define growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of sales experience in project-based industrial environments, particularly in metallurgical sectors. Fluency in English and strong negotiation skills are essential, while a degree in Engineering or related fields is required.
Our client is an international industrial group, a leader in engineered-to-order technological solutions for heavy industries. Operating in the B2B market, the company has a strong presence in metallurgical sectors (foundries, steel mills, die casting, primary metal suppliers) as well as waste-to-energy plants.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the Italian market, with full commercial accountability and close cooperation with top management in defining the division’s growth strategies. The role includes managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the company’s technological solutions through a value-driven approach.
Define and implement the commercial strategy for the relevant sectors, in line with group growth objectives.
Analyze target markets (foundries, steel mills, die casting, primary metals, waste-to-energy) to identify business opportunities.
Manage and develop key customer relationships, building long-term partnerships.
Lead the full sales cycle : prospecting, proposal, negotiation, and closing of contracts.
Cooperate with engineering and R&D to ensure alignment between customer needs and offered solutions.
Monitor commercial KPIs, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Degree in Engineering or technical / economic disciplines.
At least 10 years of experience in sales roles within complex, project-based industrial environments.
Proven background in metallurgical industries and related sectors.
Strong negotiation and B2B contract management skills.
Fluent in English.
Commercial leadership, strategic vision, and results orientation.
