Job summary

Object First, now an independent business unit of Veeam, seeks a Sales Engineer in Milan to enable partners and customers, lead PoCs, and deliver compelling technical demonstrations. The role covers data protection, backup, and security, with opportunities to engage in events and training.

Travel to customer sites and events is expected. You will work with the Go-To-Market team to support partners, prospects, and customers, building strong relationships and driving technical solutions across the

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in data protection, storage, networking and virtualization, with hands-on experience using Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience in software sales engineering, DevOps, or data protection.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Experience presenting to and working with C-level executives.
• Track record of customer-facing technical presentations and product demos.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales presentations, demos, and PoCs to customers and partners.
• Provide technical expertise for Object First products and related technologies.
• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with partners and customers in your territory.
• Qualify opportunities by assessing technical requirements, solution fit, and competitive landscape.
• Support sales teams in customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Drive partner enablement through training and technical guidance.
• Participate in events, webinars, and user groups to generate leads.
• Develop relationships with local Cybersecurity authorities and ecosystem.
