Opdenergy in Italy seeks a Grid Connection Engineer to manage the full grid connection process for our renewable projects, coordinating with Terna and distributors.

The role requires an electrical engineering degree, 2–3 years of experience in grid connections, and proficiency in reading diagrams, with remote work allowed and periodic visits to Bologna offices.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable plants.
• Experience with HV substations and grid works with E-distribuzione.
• Knowledge of Italian grid connection processes (Terna, local distributors).
• Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Good command of English; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage grid connection processes with grid operators.
• Draft and submit grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and feasibility.
• Support development, permitting, and contracting for interconnection works.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and legal teams.
• Assist tender processes and contract preparation for grid interconnections.
• Supervise engineering and construction activities related to grid connections.
• Conduct site surveys and audits during construction.
