Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future projects in Italy. You will manage the grid connection process with operators, draft HV grid applications, and analyze technical feasibility while coordinating with legal, permitting, and PM teams.

We value a degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering and 2–3 years in renewable grid connections, including HV substations. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus. Hybrid/Remote work with periodic travel to Italy.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or related field.
• 2–3+ years in electrical connections for renewable plants.
• Experience with HV substations and grid works with Italian distributors.
• Fluent written/spoken English; Spanish a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage grid connection process with operators (e-distribuzione, Terna).
• Draft and submit HV/MV grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support permitting, tendering, and contracting for grid works.
• Coordinate with design, legal, and PM teams.
• Perform site surveys and assist commissioning phases.
