Hired is seeking a Strategic Project Lead for PCB and Embedded Design to oversee end-to-end hardware development from concept to production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and resources, and ensure alignment with technical and business goals.

The role demands 7+ years in PCB design and embedded systems, plus at least 3 years in leadership. Remote work with global collaboration and frequent executive updates are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in PCB design and embedded systems development, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Cadence Allegro.
• Experience with embedded firmware in C/C++ and debugging with JTAG/logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of IPC-2221, IPC-A-610, and UL certification processes.
• Strong understanding of signal, power, and thermal management in PCB layouts.
• Experience with Git and hardware documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, DFM, and supply chain coordination.
• Ability to assess technical risks and balance cost, schedule and performance.
