Hired is seeking a Strategic Project Lead for PCB and AI platforms to oversee end-to-end hardware projects from concept to production. The role requires coordinating cross‑functional teams in PCB layout, embedded firmware, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing partners, with a remote work setup.

You will define scope, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with technical and business requirements, reporting to senior leadership and driving project success across geographies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in PCB design and embedded systems development with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools: Altium, KiCad, Cadence Allegro.
• Experience with embedded firmware development in C/C++ and debugging (JTAG/logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of IPC-2221, IPC-A-610, UL certification processes.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
• Experience with Git and hardware documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, DFM, and supply chain coordination.

• Develop and execute project plans for PCB and embedded system designs in line with business objectives.
• Lead collaboration between hardware, firmware, and third‑party vendors to deliver prototypes within budget.
• Manage PCB layout reviews, signal integrity analysis, and component selection.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for progress, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.
• Present updates to stakeholders and executive leadership to secure approvals and resources.
