Regional Sales Manager (m / w / d)
As a Regional Sales Manager in Italy, you will be our primary contact for the aftermarket business in the field of paper production plants and stock preparation. Acting as the key interface between Voith and our customers, you will ensure strong relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
Sales & Market Development
Achieve sales and profitability targets for the Italian market.
Analyze customer needs and challenges, developing customized solutions in collaboration with technologists and departments in Germany.
Focus on parts and service requirements, creating proposals and concepts in close cooperation with the local service and refurbishment unit.
Represent Voith Paper professionally in customer meetings, presentations, workshops, and trade fairs.
Ensure strong technological positioning and deliver value-driven solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing information.
Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches and marketing campaigns.
Coordinate sales activities with our agents in the Middle East.
Provide on-site support through bi-annual customer visits together with agents.
Direct reporting to the Managing Director of Voith Paper Schio.
Functional reporting to the Sales Director EMEA South.
Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, paper technology, or a comparable technical qualification.
Several years of professional experience in a technical environment.
Ideally, experience in sales or product management.
Solid knowledge of the paper industry.
Ability to contribute innovative ideas and collaborate effectively with specialist departments.
Excellent communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
Assertiveness and an efficient working style.
High level of intercultural competence.
Very good written and spoken Italian and English.
Willingness to travel approximately 60% to customer sites.
