Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Parma, Modena. You will develop new relationships with restaurants and stores, reporting to the Sales Lead.

You will become an area-level expert, helping drive adoption of Deliveroo technology and services in a dynamic regional sales team. You should be comfortable with new business development, negotiations, and engaging partners via face-to-face meetings, calls and email.

Qualifications

• You must be comfortable with targeting new business.
• Experience dealing with partners/customers face-to-face, through phone or email.
• Experience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Comfortable with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus.
• Tenacious attitude.
• Chinese language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
• Communicate with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology (visits, email, calls, social).
• Help restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
• Attend restaurant and food meet-ups.
