Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Bologna, Parma, Modena to build relationships with premium restaurants and stores. You’ll join the regional sales team and report to the Sales Lead, focusing on developing new partnerships and driving growth.

You will map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants in your region, support partners joining Deliveroo, and communicate with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology across visits, email, calls, and social channels.

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience with new business hunting.
• Comfortable dealing with partners/customers face-to-face, by phone or email.
• Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Comfortable with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus.
• Must be tenacious.
• Fluency in Chinese (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience.
• Communicate with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology via visits, email, calls, or social media.
• Help restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
