A leading global sweet-packaged food company is seeking a Quality System Specialist for a maternity cover contract in Alba, Italy. As Quality System Specialist for our maternity cover contract in Alba, you will play a key role in supporting the definition and implementation of quality rules and best practices within the plant, aligned with Group Food Safety & Quality guidelines and external standards. You will contribute to the management of the Quality System, handle consumer complaints, and ensure compliance with regulatory and certification requirements. This position involves collaboration across departments and active participation in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
By covering this role, you will support the adaptation, roll‑out, and monitoring of Quality System elements, including procedures, working instructions, HACCP/FSMA plans, and Prerequisite Programs (PRPs). You will assist in managing consumer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with all stakeholders. One of your tasks will be to guarantee compliance with local authorities, certification requirements, and external specifications impacting the plant. You will also help to organize and supervise internal and external audits to ensure proper application of quality standards. Additionally, you will contribute to internal monitoring activities and actively support continuous improvement initiatives.
You will bring your Scientific Master’s Degree background (e.g. Natural Sciences, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biology or related fields), your interest for Quality and your willingness to learn, combined with some initial experience in similar fields.
Your proactivity, good interpersonal attitude, organizational skills and an analytical mindset will be highly effective in this role, in addition to your fluency both in English and Italian languages.
