We are aiming to hire an Procurement Specialist - Direct Materials who will report to a Procurement Supervisor. The Procurement Specialist will oversee purchasing of direct materials and will be responsible for :

Assist in developing portfolio category strategies for several Direct Material Categories (e.g. forgings, machining, castings, fabrications, etc.).

Sourcing projects required to achieve the targets of the yearly cost saving budget and to mediate the award decisions for the development and the supply of new services and supplies.

Definition and maintenance of supplier relationships and long-term contracts.

Oversee and optimize end-to-end direct procurement procedures, processes, including managing suppliers master data (on SAP), optimizing purchase order flows.

Collaborate closely with internal site functions (Operations, T&I, Quality, SCM) to understand their needs and ensure strategic alignment.

Professional development is intrinsic in the role, and the procurement leadership will be directly involved in all training and mentoring activities.

At least 3-5 years of experience in Procurement

Solid knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems for procurement management.

Proficient in MS Office – Excel – Power Point.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization and with suppliers.

Fluent knowledge of English and Italian languages (written and spoken); knowledge of other languages is a plus.
