Job summary

Essity is seeking a Payroll & HR Administration Specialist in Legnano (MI) to support accurate payroll for ~1,000 employees across Italy. You will partner with HR, Finance, and stakeholders to ensure efficient payroll services for office and manufacturing staff.

You will manage master data, attendance, end-to-end payroll, year-end activities, and regulatory obligations, while helping implement process improvements and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Law, Human Resources, or equivalent.
• Payroll experience in a structured org or payroll provider.
• Strong knowledge of labor, tax, social security regulations and B&A practices.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and compliant with high accuracy.
• Excellent numerical skills and payroll data reporting with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain employee master data across the lifecycle.
• Handle Time & Attendance including absences, vacations, overtime, etc.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and related taxes and benefits.
• Review payroll results with controls and corrections as needed.
• Support year-end payroll activities and statutory obligations (CU, Form 770, INAIL).
• Collaborate with Finance on monthly/annual closings and labor cost accounting.
• Provide expert payroll support to HR and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with external payroll providers for quality and continuity.
• Prepare payroll analyses and reports for HR, Finance, Audit, budgeting.
