PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE

Armani Hotel Milano – A five-star luxury hotel that embodies sophisticated elegance with its minimalist design. Nestled in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, the hotel offers an unparalleled blend of comfort and style, featuring refined dining, a serene spa, and bespoke service tailored to each guest’s.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work to the best of his/her abilities to ensure high quality, creativity, freshness and pastry preparation according to set standards at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation, production, duties and responsibilities of the Pastry Section as assigned by the Pastry Sous Chef/Executive Chef.
  • Supervise and allocate work to pastry ambassadors, according to their knowledge and skill level.
  • Assist in developing pastry recipes and presentation photos for new menus and standards, ensuring they are always accurately updated.
  • Record and report any incidents, problems or complaints.
  • Ensure that the hotel’s cost control policies and procedures are followed.
  • Contribute to overall profits by preventing waste and maximizing the use of pastry raw materials.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing ambassadors’ grooming and personal hygiene according to hotel policies.
  • Ensure that hotel property, facilities, the pastry kitchen and all related areas are kept in excellent condition.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Identify training needs of pastry subordinates.
  • Ensure food quality and safety standards in the pastry section at all times through active checks during each shift.
Qualifications and Expertise
  • Previous experience in a 5* Hotel.
  • At least 2-year experience at same level.
  • Good English and additional languages desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Able to work calmly & confidently under pressure.
