NTT DATA in Rome is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team, delivering a key service for a major international client in the automotive sector. The Network Engineer will work with the local team to ensure continuous operation, meet SLAs and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

The role involves daily onsite service, handling changes, troubleshooting, spare parts management and on-call support outside normal hours at the customer site.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative approach.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic managed services environment.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiar with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Able to follow scripts and documented procedures.
• Confident in troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
• Minimum 6–12 months experience in service delivery.
• Fluent in Italian; able to work in an international setting using English.

Mansioni

• Daily onsite service delivery at the Rome site.
• Handle changes (AP, switch, add/move/uninstall) and handover to operations.
• Local troubleshooting and configuration tasks.
• Provide break/fix support and major change support.
• Manage local spare parts inventory and reporting.
• Support performance testing and optimization efforts.
• Assist in equipment configuration cleaning and hardening.
• Support Backup/DR testing activities.
• Generate reports and escalate unresolved issues to Central NOC.
