NTT DATA in Rome is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team, delivering a key service for a major international client in the automotive sector. The Network Engineer will work with the local team to ensure continuous operation, meet SLAs and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

The role involves daily onsite service, handling changes, troubleshooting, spare parts management and on-call support outside normal hours at the customer site.

Job Summary

NTT is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team, delivering a key strategic service for a major international client in the automotive industry. The Network Engineer will be involved in service delivery activities related to the Italian site and will work closely with our global team to ensure the effective and continuous operation of the service, meeting agreed SLAs and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing the local service from Monday to Friday and will be required to provide on-call support outside normal business hours to handle any incidents requiring immediate intervention at the customer site.

Responsibilities

• Daily Onsite Service
• Standard Changes (AP, Switch, etc. add, move, uninstall) including configuration and handover to Operations
• Local troubleshooting including configuration
• Break & Fix support
• Major Change support
• Local spare parts management
• Performance testing support
• Performance tuning and optimization support
• Equipment Configuration Cleaning and Hardening support
• Backup / DR testing support
• Reporting
• Escalating unresolved issues to Central NOC

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
