Modine Manufacturing Company is hiring a Material Planner and Production Planner.

Position Description

This role ensures the timely and efficient planning of materials and production activities to meet customer demand, optimize inventory levels, and support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan Raw Materials requirements for Amaro Plant, issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers
• Ensure timely deliveries to support production requirements
• Constantly monitor RM supplies to avoid disruptions or problems
• Carry out actions and contingency plans in case of shortages
• Ensure the planned stock level
• Work in collaboration with other functions to manage phase in / out problems
• Support Master Planning and Order Management for new projects impacting raw materials
• Develop detailed production plans, establishing operational sequences, times and quantities
• Monitor its execution daily, managing unexpected events and modify the plan when necessary
• Support continuous improvement

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Economics
• 2-3 years of experience in Material Planning or Production planning areas preferably in manufacturing companies working with multiple assembly line
• Good knowledge in materials planning, MRP and international purchasing processes in complex environment
• Strong analytical skills : ability to analyze production flows and constraints (machinery / resources)
• Problem solving: ability to promptly and proactively identify and resolve critical issues that may jeopardize the continuity of the production flow
• Negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Autonomous, target oriented and stress resilient professional
• Fluent Italian and English
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Outlook and ERP systems
