Job summary

Anantara Hotels and Resorts in Amalfi Coast, IT, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensure room cleanliness, and uphold high service standards. This role involves hands-on support, training, and coordination with Front Office to guarantee smooth arrivals and departures.

The successful candidate will manage daily tasks, monitor supplies, and ensure health and safety compliance while maintaining a positive guest experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping Department and ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas and resolve deficiencies.
• Supervise Room Attendants, Housemen, and Public Area Attendants for productivity and quality.
• Provide hands-on support in cleaning and preparation of rooms to meet deadlines.
• Train new team members on procedures, equipment, and standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office on arrivals/departures and room status updates.
• Monitor supplies and equipment and report shortages to ensure continuity.
• Keep housekeeping offices and storerooms organized and stocked.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints related to housekeeping or maintenance.
• Assign daily tasks and room allocations based on workload and occupancy.
• Report room status and maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Director.
• Monitor use of amenities and cleaning products and report discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain reports on room readiness, productivity, and service irregularities.
• Assist with monthly linen, amenity, and supply inventories.
