Job summary

Anantara Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Official on the Amalfi Coast to support daily maintenance, oversee preventive work, and ensure all equipment operates safely. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, monitoring energy use, and coordinating with vendors to protect service standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in hotel maintenance, HVAC knowledge, and strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

2–3 years maintenance experience in hotel/service industry of similar size.
Vocational training in electrical/electronics and HVAC.
Fluency in local language; English knowledge is valuable.
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and electronic systems.
Proficient with office software (MS Office).
Organized and proactive with strong teamwork.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of spotting and resolving problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assist the maintenance manager in day-to-day work and oversee preventive maintenance.
Carry out corrective maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
Help implement security measures and manage permits.
Coordinate with vendors for contracts and investments.
Coordinate external maintenance with hotel departments.
Monitor energy consumption and maintenance costs.
Set up meeting rooms (audiovisuals, lighting, etc.).
Address guest incidents and issues promptly.
