Job summary

Hermès in Rome is seeking a Cashier to ensure accurate cashiering and assist customers through the final steps of a luxury purchase. You will open/close the till, process payments, and support aftersales care while contributing to a memorable boutique experience.

The role emphasizes data entry, back-office tasks, and strong service with fluency in Italian and English. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and prior luxury retail experience are preferred; full-time temporary contract offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Fluency in Italian and English; another language is a plus.
• Experience in luxury goods boutique preferred.
• Proficient with Excel/PowerPoint and IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the cash register and manage payments.
• Assist clients during the final steps of purchase and handle cash transactions.
