Job summary

Hermès Paris in Rome is seeking a Cashier to ensure premium customer service and smooth store operations. You will manage tills, payments, and basic back-office tasks with a focus on accuracy and privacy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, fluency in Italian and English, and experience in luxury retail. The position is full-time on a temporary contract with a starting gross salary around €28,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or equivalent academic background.
• Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is an advantage.
• Professional background in luxury goods retail, preferably in similar positions.
• Proficient with Excel / PowerPoint / IT tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the cash register and control the effective payments.
• Attend clients during their final steps of purchase and check cash transactions.
• Support customers providing all type of information, including aftersales product care suggestions.
• Perform all in-store sales transactions, set up the till, cash up, and assist tax refund procedures for foreigners.
• Contribute to back-office operations to support selling teams.
• Enter data and update IT tools; ensure procedures are followed.
