A global belting solutions provider in Italy is seeking a legal professional to provide comprehensive support focusing on commercial contracts, corporate law, and compliance. The ideal candidate will draft and negotiate agreements, advise on M&A transactions, manage legal counsel, and ensure regulatory compliance. Candidates must have a strong background in law with at least 7-10 years of experience and be fluent in English. This role requires excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• 7-10 years post qualification experience in an international law firm or in-house legal department.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (C2 level).
• Strong skills in commercial contracts, corporate law, and M&A.

Job Description

General legal support with a focus on commercial contracts, corporate law, M&A, and compliance.

Provide legal support globally to Ammega. Act as a trusted advisor to the business and helping build a robust legal function.

Responsibilities

Individual accountabilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of domestic and international commercial agreements.
• Advise on corporate law matters, including M&A transactions and post-deal integration.
• Manage external legal counsel and litigation matters.
• Provide legal guidance on regulatory matters and liaise with public authorities.
• Analyse legislation and regulations, provide legal opinions - including implementation and/or impact on the business.

Shared Accountabilities

• Contribute to legal entity management and rationalization.
• Develop, implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures.
• Ensure harmonized legal practices across the Group.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, sales, operations) to support business goals.

Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders

• General Counsel, Legal Counsel and Paralegal
• Management and Board of Directors of Group entities
• Purchasing, sales and business operations teams

Qualifications

• 7-10 years post qualification experience, in an international law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (min CEFR C2)
• Strong generalist legal skills in commercial contracts, corporate law, and M&A.
• Experience or interest in compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and a constructive, collaborative mindset.
