As Junior IT Support Specialist, you will join our IT team! In this role, you will report to IT Manager Europe and will have the opportunity to build practical IT skills in a modern, fast‑growing environment. Key Responsibilities:
You will support your team/tutor in:
- Providing first‑level IT support for basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Assisting end‑users with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices, Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), and Windows operating systems.
- Supporting the setup and configuration of laptops, workstations, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Collaborating with the Global Service Desk to elevate and resolve more complex IT problems.
- Maintaining and updating the IT asset inventory accurately.
- Contributing to IT documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to help end‑users solve common issues.
- Actively learning from resolved cases and continuously improving technical skills.
- Participating in IT projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Supporting the review of the local IT budget usage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Your profile is a natural match if you have:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other STEM‑related fields
- Alternatively, students from scientific or technical backgrounds with a strong interest in IT (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Telecommunications)
Experience:
- University projects or lab activities related to IT, systems, or networking
- Academic coursework or exams related to IT, networking, operating systems, or similar
- Erasmus or international study experiences (a plus)
- Volunteering, student jobs, or personal projects involving basic IT support or technology use
Skills:
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS, even as an everyday user
- Familiarity with mobile devices (Android/iOS) and their support
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g. internet connectivity, IP addresses, DNS)
- Basic understanding of networking, server, and/or Active Directory concepts
- Comfortable using common digital and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365)
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
