Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Bologna, Parma, Modena. This role focuses on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores, reporting to the Sales Lead, and building a founding, high-impact team member within a well-funded company.

You will map and close new restaurant opportunities, support partners joining Deliveroo, and engage with restaurants through visits, email, calls or social media to showcase Deliveroo technology and overcome objections.

Qualifications

• Target new business and drive new restaurant partnerships.
• Experience dealing with partners/customers face-to-face, by phone or email.
• Ability to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Comfort with negotiations.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants in region.
• Support partners in joining Deliveroo with best experience.
• Communicate with restaurants via visits, email, calls, social media.
• Help restaurant owners overcome barriers or hesitations.
• Attend restaurant and food meet-ups.
