Cross Border Talents is seeking an Operations Customer Expert to join a UK-founded digital bank in Lisbon. You will handle customer inquiries via chat, phone and email, resolving issues quickly and upholding a high standard of service. The role is on-site in Lisbon with 40 hours per week and rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent Italian (C1) and English (B2+) communication.
• Minimum 1 year in banking/financial services or insurance.
• Strong customer-focus and clear communication.
• Ability to make independent decisions in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via chat, phone, and email to resolve issues promptly.
• Take ownership from start to finish, including complex cases.
• Support fraud investigations, disputes, and complaints with care and accuracy.
• Identify vulnerable customers and escalate when needed.
• Coach teammates and provide feedback to improve processes.
• Remain flexible to changing business and customer needs.
