Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking an Operations Customer Expert for our Lisbon, Portugal site. You will be the first contact via phone, email or chat, resolving inquiries quickly while upholding service standards.

Responsibilities include handling diverse banking-related issues, supporting fraud investigations, and guiding colleagues to improve processes. Relocation and welcome bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken Italian (C1).
• Good written and spoken English (B2+).
• At least 1 year of experience in banking/financial services/insurance.
• Strong communication, empathy and customer focus.
• Ability to make independent decisions in complex situations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via chat, phone and email, resolving issues at first contact.
• Own issues from start to finish, including complex cases, upholding company values.
• Support fraud investigations, dispute resolutions and complaints with care and accuracy.
• Identify vulnerable customers and provide appropriate support, escalating as needed.
• Coach teammates and provide feedback to improve training and processes.
• Remain flexible to changing business and customer needs.
