Job summary

Cross Border Talents seeks Italian-speaking Banking & Financial Services Specialists to join an international customer support team in Lisbon. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries via phone, email and chat and resolving issues with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Eligible to work in Portugal and able to work in Lisbon is mandatory. The role requires handling complex requests, following procedures, and supporting vulnerable customers.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills.
• Strong customer-focused and empathetic approach.
• Experience in banking, financial services, customer service or contact centres is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and chat, aiming for first-contact resolution.
• Manage customer cases from beginning to end, including more complex requests.
• Provide support with banking transactions, fraud-related cases, disputes and chargebacks.
• Handle complaints professionally and ensure fair outcomes.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers, adapting approach as required.
• Follow established procedures while using good judgment in complex situations.
• Share knowledge and provide feedback to colleagues to improve processes.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer and business needs.
