A leading engineering consulting group in Italy seeks an I&C Engineer specializing in the nuclear sector. Responsible for system design, validation, and documentation, the ideal candidate should have a Master degree in Electrical Engineering and a background in Control & Command systems. Fluent English and knowledge of relevant standards are essential.

Competenze

• Proven experience in Control & Command systems, ideally in regulated sectors.
• Good understanding of I&C architecture and industrial software systems.
• Knowledge of RCC-E 2016 standards for Software qualification is a plus.

Mission

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for an I&C Engineer - Nuclear sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

What is the challenge?

• Contribute to the specification, design and validation of I&C systems for ITER
• Define or support the development of the I&C architecture (sensor/actuator interfaces, DTLF devices, supervision tools)
• Analyze the electrical and digital architectures in coordination with other disciplines
• Draft or manage system/software lifecycle documentation: requirements, design specifications, test strategies, validation reports, traceability
• Review or specify software components and digital control devices
• Participate in technical reviews and verification/validation processes
• Collaborate closely with international and cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Master degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering, I&C or embedded systems
• Proven experience in Control & Command systems, ideally within a highly regulated sector (nuclear, energy, railway, etc.)
• Good understanding of I&C architecture, electrical integration and industrial software systems

Other information

• Strong skills in lifecycle documentation (V-model, traceability)
• Fluent in professional English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of RCC-E 2016 standards for Software qualification
• Knowledge of relevant standards (IEC 61513, IEC 60880, IEEE 7-4.3.2) is a plus
• Workplace: Genoa, Italy
• Availability to occasional business trips in France
