Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. in Monselice, Veneto, is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and performance reviews. You will partner with managers to ensure compliant processes and accurate data.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field, 1 year of HR experience, English B2 and Italian; proficiency with Excel and Workday is a plus. Join a global team committed to safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in HR.
• Proactivity, good analytical skills and attention to details required.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide/train managers and employees on HR tools, practices, processes and policies.
• Ensure data quality in HR tools/systems and manage HR reporting.
• Liaise with HR Operations on payroll issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure new hires are well-informed about company policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies.
• Support coordination of on-site training activities.
• Collaborate on information material for local HRBP meetings with unions.
• Assist with blue-collar recruiting and coordination with external agencies.
