Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a seasoned Commercial Training & Competency Program Manager to design, deploy, and govern a global, scalable learning framework across regions and BUs. You will partner with DBS leaders to strengthen sales capabilities and ensure local execution.

The role is fully remote in Italy, reporting to the Director Global Commercial Operations, with a base salary range and a 20% target bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Training & Development, Commercial Management, or comparable experience
• 7+ years in Sales, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, or Training roles
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage global programs and projects
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills
• Strong command of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and LLM-based answer engines (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)

Responsabilités

• Develop and lead the global commercial training strategy by establishing a consistent, scalable learning framework, onboarding programs, and blended learning solutions across all regions.
• Build and govern a global sales competency framework that defines required capabilities, assesses proficiency, identifies gaps, and drives development plans for all commercial roles.
• Partner with Regional Commercial Leaders, Business Units, and DBS teams to align training priorities, ensure content relevance, and drive accountability for capability development.
• Establish robust training governance and operational excellence through standardized processes, content management, reporting, compliance oversight, learning platforms, and Train-the-Trainer networks.
• Measure impact and continuously improve commercial capabilities by tracking training effectiveness, monitoring competency progress, analyzing performance gaps, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
