Job summary

Gridspertise invites applications for an AMS Service Manager to oversee services in the Smart Metering and Smart Grid sector for domestic and international clients. You will coordinate AMS activities, supervise support teams, manage tickets, SLAs, escalations and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering, 10 years in AMS or similar, and strong English. 2-year fixed-term contract based in Milan with potential transition to permanent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering.
• 10 years in AMS or similar roles.
• Experience in utilities, smart metering/grid sectors.
• Knowledge of L1/L2/L3 application support processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate distributed teams and clients.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AMS services for domestic and international clients.
• Supervise first- and second-level support and liaise with third-level AMS.
• Manage ticketing, SLAs/KPIs, escalations and reporting.
• Coordinate operations, troubleshooting, configurations and releases/UAT.
• Engage with product, development and software teams.
• Prepare proposals from suppliers and convert to client proposals.
• Participate in SALs, reviews, War Room, and alignment meetings.
