Job summary

Gridspertise is seeking an AMS Service Manager to oversee AMS services for smart metering and smart grid clients worldwide. You will lead first to third level support, manage tickets and SLAs, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to drive effective issue resolution.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering, 5 years of relevant experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in AMS services or similar.
• Experience in managing SLAs, tickets, escalations and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate distributed teams and international clients.

Responsibilities

• As AMS Service Manager, coordinate AMS services in Smart Metering / Smart Grid for domestic and international clients.
• Supervise first/second/third level support and liaise with external AMS for corrective work.
• Manage ticketing, SLAs/KPIs, escalations, reporting, and client communications.
• Coordinate operational activities, troubleshooting, configurations, tuning, and release support.

The System Integration South EMEA unit, within Gridspertise, is looking for **AMS Service Manager**.Founded in 2021 from Enel’s two-decade-long experience in grid digitalization, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation every day.Today, the Gridspertise Group operates globally in Italy, Spain, the Nordic countries, the Netherlands, Latam and beyond.By providing Grid Edge intelligent solutions, we empower utilities with advanced visibility, control, and automation at the edge, driving transformation across the industry and society.Step into a fast-paced, tech-driven environment where you can contribute to impactful global projects and work with the latest technologies on the market.Join us and be part of the team that’s revolutionizing smart grids!**What you will do**:As AMS Service Manager, you will be responsible for all activities related to:* Coordinate AMS services in the Smart Metering / Smart Grid sector for domestic and international clients;* Supervise first-level activities, the Meter Operation Centre, second-level technical/functional support, and liaise with third-level AMS for corrective and enhancement support;* Manage ticketing processes, SLAs/KPIs, escalations, reporting and client communications;* Coordinate operational activities, troubleshooting, workarounds, configurations, parameterisation, tuning, problem management and support for releases/UAT;* Manage relations with third-level, product, development and software factory teams for corrective and enhancement activities, change requests and application interventions;* Analyse technical and financial proposals received from suppliers and convert them into structured proposals for clients;* Participate in SALs, service reviews, War Room sessions, technical calls and alignment meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Note: The scope and the perimeter of the unit requires the availability to travel to Turkmenistan.**Who you are**:Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree preferably in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering with:* 5 years of experience in the role or similar;* Experience in managing complex AMS services, preferably within the utilities, energy, smart metering, smart grid or mission-critical systems sectors;* Knowledge of L1/L2/L3 application support processes;* Experience in managing SLAs, ticketing, escalation, operational reporting and stakeholder management;* Ability to coordinate distributed teams, suppliers, partners and national/international clients;* Excellent written and spoken English.**What we offer**:* 2-year fixed-term contract based in Milan, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position thereafter;* Annual salary range: €55,000 - €80,000 (In accordance with the Pay Transparency Directive No. 2023/970);* Smart working, corporate welfare including supplemental health care, wellness programs, family and parental caring, benefits, conventions and more.www.gridspertise.com*We are looking for candidates of both sexes - L.903/77 e D.
