Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Financial Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to assist, support and provide oversight of the project team during the project life, providing expertise in financial and cost management.

The Candidate will also be financially responsible to the Italian Branch and be a key member of the Shadow team established to monitor the Messina Project and any new projects. He will report to the Italy Country Manager.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Maintain and revise accounting, financial, or tax records, ensuring effective controls are in place.
  • Prepare, review, interpret, and analyze financial accounts and transaction records, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to management.
  • Develop non-standard reports and statements, including forecasts that integrate multiple fields of information, and identify trends or deviations from standards.
  • Refine accounting structures and reports to meet management information needs.
  • Analyze financial data for setting standard rates, making investment decisions, and preparing management-requested reports.
  • Conduct research and planning to minimize future tax impacts on major entities or projects.
  • Predict the effects of changes in operating programs and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Lead finance and accounting system reviews, design, implementation, and support initiatives.
  • Train and develop subordinate personnel, plan and monitor work schedules, and establish performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining the integrity of financial systems and records.
