ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER

We are seeking a qualified Engineering and Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing engineering and maintenance activities. This includes overseeing staff development, ensuring compliance with HSE and ergonomic standards, and collaborating with plant operations to improve O.E.E. and processes. The Candidate will also promote safety, quality, and equipment efficiency, handle new process industrialization, coordinate engineering changes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the publication of maintenance results and KPI.

Overview

Role focused on leading engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring HSE compliance, promoting safety and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across plant operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize the activities related to the engineering, maintenance office;
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence;
  • Ensure that all designs comply with HSE and ergonomic requirements;
  • Collaborate with the plant operations team to promote improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness and overall process improvements;
  • Promote improvements in terms of safety, quality, availability and efficiency of equipment;
  • Responsibility of new Process Industrialization within the Plant. PFMEA;
  • Coordinates all customer and internal engineering changes;
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, quality and cost to maintain profitability and competitiveness;
  • Follow-up on permanent corrective action plans to resolve any outstanding issues related to quality, production, equipment, tooling, customers, and production controls;
  • Ensure process maintenance results and KPI’s publishing;
  • Manage plan and control absenteeism, vacations, overtime and recognition process for people within the area;
  • Provide and ensure support for issues escalation process;
  • Responsible for maintaining IATF compliance within manufacturing;
  • Coordinate and supervise external companies working for maintenance;
  • Identify create and develop together with HR individual training plan if needed;
  • Coordinate with all departments of the plant to develop the annual Capex plan. Follow up Capex approval and Management;
  • Work with facility, maintenance and warehouse managers to ensure adequate and accurate inventories are maintained to support production.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
