Data Analytics & AI Specialist

RINA is currently recruiting for a Data Analytics & AI Specialist to join its office in Rome / Naples within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The AI Expert will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing AI‑driven solutions that address business needs and drive competitive advantage. This role aims to lead the development and deployment of AI models, algorithms, and applications while staying at the forefront of AI advancements.

Key Accountabilities

• Solution Design & Development: Design and develop generative AI models and algorithms using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Machine Learning.
• AI Model Training: Fine‑tune and optimize pre‑built generative models or develop custom solutions for NLP, image generation, and other AI applications.
• Cloud Integration: Implement end‑to‑end AI solutions, integrating them with existing cloud infrastructures and leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
• Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy AI models in production environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. Utilize Azure’s monitoring tools to track model performance and optimize for efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, cloud architects, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in AI and cloud technology, continuously improving and adapting the AI solutions to enhance business capabilities.

Education

• Master’s Degree
• Doctorate/PhD in Computer Science

Qualifications

• Proven +2 years experience as
• Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in using AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Azure AI Services: Strong knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Cloud Architecture: Solid understanding of cloud architecture, especially within the Azure ecosystem (Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Services).
