Job summary

Sheraton Milan San Siro is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in Milan. The role involves rotating between stations and supporting the Executive Chef to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will handle ingredient quality, menu execution, inventory management, and collaboration with staff while maintaining HACCP hygiene and safety standards. Experience with kitchen equipment and recipe development is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical School Degree in culinary arts or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• HACCP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Know raw ingredients and check quality.
• Know and master the menu and replicate recipes.
• Manage inventory and communicate orders, check stocks, and manage waste.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of assistant chefs and extra staff.
• Collaborate with team to ensure service meets quality standards and guest expectations.
• Maintain hygiene and HACCP standards in your work area.
• Ensure team complies with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
• Assist Head Chef in creating new recipes or modifying existing ones.
• Experience with main kitchen equipment and safety rules.
