Business Development Manager – Oracle

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), a part of Arrow Electronics, brings innovative IT solutions to market to solve complex business challenges. We deliver value‑added distribution, business consulting and channel enablement services to leading technology manufacturers and their channel partners. Arrow ECS Italy is looking for a Business Development Manager – Oracle to join our dynamic sales team.

Location: IT – Milan, Italy (Viale Piero e Alberto Pirelli)

Time Type: Full time

What you will be doing:

  • Identify new business opportunities – new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
  • Ensure the execution of sales growth plans. Drives results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee new business initiatives.
  • Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities.
  • Find and develop new markets and improve sales by leveraging Arrow’s portfolio of services.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met.
  • Analyze and report performance data. Monitor pipeline performance.

Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience within sales and/or business development in IT.
  • Knowledge of Oracle products and services – mandatory.
  • Business proficiency of Italian and English.
  • Good track record in business development in the distribution market.
  • Knowledge and passion about new technology products and solutions as well as understanding of global trends, opportunities.
  • Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Easy to build and maintain new relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to travel 3 days per week to client’s office.
